Job title: HSE Manager
Location: Nigg, Highlands
Job function:
The HSE Manager is responsible for providing HSE support to the North Fabrication business division, including leading HSE plans with clients, safety interface documents/compliance, audits and related inspections. The HSE Manager will also be part of the overall HSE team for the GESH group, ensuring alignment to HSE group strategy and governance, whilst integrating deliverables to the North Fabrication Business Unit needs.

- ISO Compliance/Standards
- Audit and HSE associated certification
- HSE Team
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage and support the HSE team for North Fabrication.
- Attend HSE and Operational meetings, ensuring the correct and timely management of HSE / governance, including BMS requirements.
- Lead investigations, identify root causes and implement corrective actions for incidents and near-misses
- Manage and monitor ISO standards (9001, 14001, and 45001) and internal audits
- Lead the HSE team and management, ensuring all audit actions and matters are correctly completed by customers, third parties and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance needs are achieved/exceeded, within client/customer expectations and all relevant governmental regulations.
- Ensure all HSE data and statistics are maintained and reviewed in line with HSE and company policy/processes.
- Ensure accurate data management of HSE Management System
- Lead the facilitation and maintenance of environmental health, safety and well-being activities (via systems, audit/ inspection) ensuring high standards are achieved / maintained.
Expereicne, Qualifications & Attributes:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum requirement) NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent is desirable (e.g. Degree in Occupational Safety, Level 5 NVQ.
- Lead Auditor qualification or experience conducting ISO audits
- IT Literacy (MS office suite, use of databases/bespoke systems).
